This exquisite board, originating from Spain, promises durability and longevity for countless games to come. Paired with the board is a set of Weighted Ebonised Zagreb Staunton Chess Pieces, known as the Zagreb 1959 Series, paying homage to the historic world championship tournament held in Zagreb, Croatia. Distinguished by their unique design, wherein the top portion of the king, queen, and bishop holds the opposition color, these pieces exude sophistication. The knights, meticulously carved with intricate strokes, evoke a sense of nobility reminiscent of Russian chess designs. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Amritsar, India, each piece is carved from specified wood blocks to meticulously capture the essence of the design. To complement this remarkable set, a luxuriously veneered chess piece storage box, crafted from mahogany wood, is included. Staunton chess pieces are all manufactured by skilled craftsmen in Amritsar, India.

This is the official Chessgammon store, we are also present on eBay, Amazon and ETSY. However purchasing from the incorrect listing will mean you may be purchasing from a 3rd party dropshipper. This makes it incredibly difficult for you to arrange replacements/ complain about any potential damages.
